Senior Analyst, Client Insights
Extend
• Own the Shopper Behavioral Analysis process and assist our sales team in turning segmentation analysis into closed deals • Own product analytics for the Shopper Operations Platform (SOP); Analyze product data and work with the product and engineering teams to drive product improvements • Partner cross-functionally with the Risk and Data (RAD) team to help build new fraud analysis and translate that analysis into easy-to-understand reporting; stay current on model and product changes, and translate those changes into merchant-facing insights • Partner with sales, merchant success and growth teams to deliver data and analysis that helps retain and upsell merchants • Work closely with data engineering and product teams to align data reporting needs with the internal data model • Contribute to building a more scalable, sophisticated reporting pipeline over time
Job Requirements
- 4-7 years of experience in an analytics, data, or business intelligence role
- Understanding of consumer brands, ecommerce, and important metrics and benchmarks in the industry; you’ve used data and analysis to drive business decisions at an ecommerce company / consumer brand
- Experience working cross-functionally to drive business and product improvement
- Proficiency in SQL — you're comfortable querying large datasets, writing clean, efficient code, and understanding optimal data modeling
- Experience building and maintaining transformation code in dbt
- Experience with Snowflake
- Familiarity with Tableau
- Knowledge of Python is a plus — experience using it for data manipulation or automation is a bonus
- Understanding of how to use AI to drive process improvement and drive efficiency across the organization
- Strong communication skills — you can explain data clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- A self-starter mindset: you ask good questions, dig into problems independently, and know when to loop others in.
