Role Description The SMB Care Representative handles inbound calls in a call center environment on a variety of subjects. This position can be filled remotely anywhere within the country. What You'll Do: - Resolve customer inquiries, billing issues and product/service concerns - Explain and save products and services to existing customers - Access and update customer accounts through computer-based systems with the customer on the phone - Gains and maintains product/service knowledge, working knowledge of telephony technology and industry updates - Utilize systematic resources as needed to perform tasks - Other duties as assigned Qualifications - Good telephone communication skills and customer interface ability - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Use proper discretion in evaluating/elevating customer issues - Work as a team player and defuse difficult situations - PC skills (Windows), 10-key and keyboarding skills - The ability to take initiative and accountability in obtaining general knowledge of billing systems and order entry - Ability to work a schedule from 8:00 am – 6:00 pm ET Monday – Friday (overtime may be required) Requirements - At least 1 year of call center experience, preferably in the telecommunications industry - Relevant systems knowledge - Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus - Sales experience is a plus - High School diploma or equivalent and at least 6 months experience. College hours or a college degree may be substituted for experience as deemed appropriate. - The compensation range for this position is from $14.57/hr - $16.78/hr. Role Description Verisma is seeking a motivated and driven Business Development Representative (BDR) to support our commercial growth efforts. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on initiating conversations, uncovering opportunities, and building relationships that lead to business growth. Reporting into the Vice President of Marketing and working in close alignment with Sales, the BDR will play a critical role in qualifying inbound leads, executing strategic outbound outreach, and driving engagement ahead of key industry events. This position offers hands-on exposure to sales strategy, pipeline development, and market segmentation—providing a strong foundation for future growth within the commercial organization. This role provides a defined pathway to join the sales team within 18–24 months. Success in this role is measured by the ability to consistently meet monthly meeting quotas and contribute to pipeline generation, where you can earn uncapped commission, averaging 20–30%, with no cap on upside. - Inbound Lead Qualification: - Rapidly assess and qualify inbound leads from marketing channels - Set meetings with high-potential prospects and ensure accurate Salesforce tracking - Collaborate with Sales to ensure smooth handoff and follow-through - Strategic Prospecting: - Execute targeted outbound efforts to engage prospective clients - Maintain an active prospecting list and report progress regularly to Sales counterparts - Use multiple channels (email, phone, social) to generate interest and schedule meetings - Event-Driven Engagement: - Drive pre-event meeting scheduling to maximize Verisma’s investment in conferences and trade shows - Invite and confirm attendance of clients and prospects to Verisma-hosted dinners and networking events - Support post-event follow-up to convert interest into pipeline - Sales Alignment and Collaboration: - Work hand-in-hand with Sales counterparts to identify high-value targets and refine outreach strategies - Share insights from prospect interactions to inform messaging and positioning - Stay agile and responsive to shifting priorities and market dynamics Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, preferred - 2 years of healthcare IT experience driving sales conversations - Proven experience in sales prospecting and desire to enter into a Sales Executive position in the future - Familiarity with Salesforce is a plus - Strong communication and collaboration skills - Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines - Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and cleanliness - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing team needs - Ability to travel up to 10% of the time, as needed
