Business Operations Manager
Trivium Group
• Build and maintain operational systems • Hold the team accountable to KPIs • Oversee hiring and onboarding processes • Manage inventory, 3PL, and logistics • Provide financial visibility into operational spend • Ensure every team member has a clear playbook and job scorecard • Audit current workflows and identify bottlenecks • Create systems that remove reliance on tribal knowledge • Maintain operational dashboards and KPI trackers • Use AI tools to automate and optimize repetitive processes • Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for the team • Run weekly team standups and structured 1:1 meetings • Track KPIs using role-based scorecards • Conduct monthly and quarterly performance reviews • Lead underperformance conversations and manage PIPs when needed • Process contractor and team payments accurately and on time • Foster a culture of accountability and ownership • Manage the hiring pipeline when new roles open • Oversee recruiter (if/when added to the team) • Maintain updated job descriptions and role scorecards • Build structured onboarding plans for every new hire • Own inventory tracking and demand forecasting • Proactively manage reorder cycles • Coordinate freight logistics and shipment timelines • Manage 3PL relationships and monitor SLAs • Prevent stockouts and overstock through forecasting accuracy • Continuously optimize supply chain costs and efficiency • Track recurring operational expenses (tools, subscriptions, vendors) • Identify anomalies and unnecessary spend • Deliver a monthly OPEX summary with observations • Monitor budget vs. actuals and flag discrepancies • Support data-driven operational decision-making
Job Requirements
- 2+ years in Operations or Project Management within e-commerce or DTC
- Advanced Notion and/or ClickUp user (required)
- Actively uses AI tools daily to build systems and automate workflows
- Experience managing remote teams across time zones
- Hands-on supply chain experience (inventory, 3PL, freight, forecasting)
- Comfortable reading and interpreting basic financial reports
- Experience managing hiring pipelines
- Preferred Experience
- Scaling a DTC brand from early growth to structured operations
- Building KPI dashboards and operational scorecards
- Implementing automation using AI tools
- Multi-vendor and multi-channel supply chain exposure
