Compliance Manager

GE HealthCare

• Partner and align with the GE HealthCare compliance team to develop, and/or manage key compliance activities, policies and local procedures applying specifically to GEHC Pharmaceutical Diagnostics in US and Canada • Collaborate with Legal and Compliance stakeholders as well as cross-functionally to enhance the compliance program • Develop and deliver live and virtual/online compliance training for various teams within Pharmaceutical Diagnostics, with a focus on the radiopharma diagnostics business • Develop and execute an annual monitoring plan, conduct regular monitoring assessments though both in person activity monitoring and data reviews to identify potential compliance issues • Implement processes as needed to ensure business activities adhere to regulatory and internal compliance requirements • Identify areas of risk and propose strategies for risk mitigation, including support of annual compliance risk assessment and mitigation planning activities • Maintain and/or create Pharmaceutical Diagnostics compliance metrics for operational reviews • Assist with monitoring of third parties for compliance with legal and contractual requirements • Support development and implementation of the compliance training plan and develops training content • Foster a culture of ethical conduct

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited college or university
  • At least 6 years of compliance experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
  • Experience developing and implementing policies, training, and monitoring plans
  • Ability to successfully work and partner with internal cross-functional teams
  • Ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects and strong attention to details
  • Candidate must be able to work independently and prioritize multiple demands
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time for monitoring activities and team meetings

Experience working in a Pediatric hospital/Health Care facility and/or Children's Specialized Services area. - The RN Field Representative surveys health care organizations throughout the United States. - Applies systems analysis skills and inductive reasoning skills to determine health care organizations' degree of compliance with applicable standards and functionality of care delivery systems. - Engages health care organization staff in interactive dialogues on standards-based issues in health care to assess compliance and to identify opportunities for improving compliance. - Prepares management reports that clearly link individual standards deficiencies with potential systems vulnerabilities and related organization risk points. - Effectively communicates this information to health care organization leadership in a constructive and collegial style. - Participates in other Joint Commission activities as assigned by supervisor. #LI-REMOTE Qualifications - Graduate of approved school of nursing and hold a master’s degree in appropriate discipline. - Current professional license in discipline required at time of hire and must be maintained throughout the duration of employment. - Must hold a CPHQ certification (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) through National Association for Healthcare Quality (NAHQ) at time of hire or attain by 12/31/28. - Five years of recent health care experience, including 3 years of direct clinical experience in pediatric care settings, and 3 years of accreditation, certification leadership or senior management experience. - Contemporary knowledge of and experience in health care operations, clinical practice, use of performance improvement methods to assess organizational performance, and current research and trends relative to health care practices. - Knowledge of Joint Commission standards with direct involvement in two Joint Commission surveys. - Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills. - Strong interpersonal, interviewing, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills. - Part-time candidates must be available to work two weeks (.48 FTE) or three weeks (.7 FTE) per month and provide two or three weeks of availability for scheduling purposes. Full-time is also available requiring four weeks of availability. - All positions require 100% nationwide travel. Requirements - Must be able to observe, in real time and without slowing or otherwise interrupting the progress of all applicable types of ongoing health care treatment. - Standing for long periods of time, walking lengthy distances, lifting, climbing, stooping, pulling, and pushing to adequately inspect and observe all medical facilities, equipment, and procedures. - Must be able to engage in extensive travel, including driving a car to remote locations, flying on small airplanes and into small airports, traveling in all types of weather conditions.
