Senior GO Developer

Role Description You will be: - Developing, enhancing and maintaining multi-tenant backend services and APIs using Go (Golang) and gRPC, running in Kubernetes and using Postgres as the database backend. - Designing and implementing data modelling solutions (e.g. database structures and canonical product data models) with focus on performance and multi-tenancy. - Designing APIs following Google AIP standards with multi-tenancy in mind. - Designing and presenting architecture changes through ADRs while following architectural guidelines and principles. - Creating and maintaining integrations between backend services and multiple SaaS systems (e.g. product content systems). - Ensuring code quality through testing, conducting code reviews and following engineering standards. - Supporting debugging, optimizing performance and resolving issues as part of L2 support. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams while following agile development practices. - Proactively taking ownership of backend services, identifying and resolving production issues before they impact customers. Qualifications - Strong experience in backend development with Go (Golang) - 5+ years. - Solid understanding of concurrency, data structures and backend development fundamentals. - Experience designing and consuming APIs. - Experience working with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL or equivalent). - Proficiency with Git-based workflows. - Experience with unit and integration testing. - Hands-on experience with Docker. - Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery. - Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Requirements - Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work (Nice to have). - Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows, automation patterns, AI-augmented development), with a willingness to explore and experiment beyond standard approaches (Nice to have).
