Business Development Executive – MSP, IT Sales
Virtual Technologies Group
• Lead Generation & Prospecting: Cover assigned geography to identify qualified sales opportunities to achieve sales quota • Sales & Business Development: Conduct needs assessments and develop tailored proposals to address client requirements. • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at prospective client organizations. • Sales Forecasting & Reporting: Accurately forecast and track sales performance against established targets. • Teamwork & Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales engineering, and technical support, to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of proven success in a business development or sales role, preferably within the IT industry.
- Strong understanding of IT services, including managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data center solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, HubSpot).
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
