Role Description The Account Manager manages the ongoing customer relationships and is responsible for contract renewals to existing clients, introduction of new products and services, and revenue growth. - Maintains and nurtures existing client relationships at the senior management level - Oversees negotiation of renewal contracts - Performs high level issue resolution - Supports and coordinates the interaction between all customer facing departments and existing accounts within the specified region - Develops and implements strategic sales and new product placement plans to accommodate region’s goals - Reviews market factors to determine client needs, price schedules, and discount rates - Assists Client Services in challenging situations - Understands the business climate including industry type, growth rate, and market factors in assigned territories - Generates account plans for all key accounts - Prepares periodic sales reports showing sales volume, potential sales, and areas of client base expansion - Presents demos to key clients and provides customer training on existing and new products and services - Controls expenditures of specified region to conform to budgetary requirements - Develops new sales opportunities within the financial banking industry - Attends Trade Shows and Conferences Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree preferred - Minimum 8 plus years related experience or equivalent - Commitment to excellence and high standards - Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills - Acute attention to detail - Demonstrated ability to plan and organize projects - Ability to deal effectively with a variety of individuals at all organizational levels - Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions - Ability to direct and recommend cost-effective creative solutions - Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures - Proficient on PowerPoint, Salesforce, and Excel - The ability to effectively present online or in person product demonstrations - Travel to clients or shows when applicable - Analyze statistical and financial data - Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously - Collect, interpret, and/or analyze complex data and information Requirements - Possess a valid State Issued Driver’s License and is insurable - Provide and maintain current valid proof of automobile insurance policy - Successfully complete a background verification process

Role Description This position will bill, process adjustments, collect on accounts, and/or perform customer service duties to ensure that monies due University Hospital are secured and paid in a timely manner and the AR outstanding days of revenue are kept to a minimum. Assignment will be flexible depending on payor mix, patient flow, and workload fluctuations. Qualifications - Two years of recent (within the last 5 years) experience billing or collecting healthcare accounts in a business office; OR - Four years of general collection, billing or customer service experience; OR - Equivalent combination of education and experience. - Certified Revenue Cycle Specialist (CRCS) is required within 18 months of hire. Requirements - Submit bills that comply with all appropriate regulations, managed care contracts to third party payors. - Calculate the correct reimbursement of all managed care claims. - Collect assertively and proactively money due OHSU by contacting third parties (insurance carrier, various government programs, etc.). - Provide explanation of charges and additional requested information to the third parties. - Analyze accounts to determine coordination of benefits, refunds, and denials to ensure appropriate resolution of accounts. - Review billing to determine medical records necessary to provide complete processing of claim. - Analyze accounts with regard to billing and payment history and use judgment to determine appropriate follow-up action based on departmental guidelines. - Contact patient/guarantor to resolve issues (includes tracing and locating patient/guarantor by telephoning and/or sending written correspondence). - Analyze accounts and interpret contracts that dictate how claims should be paid and process adjustments for contract interpretation. - Comply with special billing and follow-up requirements regarding adoptions, court holds, motor vehicle and personal injury accidents, and other unique or sensitive accounts. - Work reports of denied claims to trend and report these claims to the department and to our front end partners. - Work closely with admitting, care management and ambulatory services on the denied claims for resolution and feedback purposes. - Other duties as assigned, including activities that are classified as team support and environmental activities.
