Role Description As Risk Analyst, you will have an opportunity to join a group of seasoned fraud experts and expand your knowledge of Fraud Fighting within the e-commerce space. Your day to day will include: - Analyzing large data sets to identify and extrapolate fraud trends & propose effective and refined solutions. - Monitoring performance dashboards to look for anomalies. - Investigating high risk alerts. - Producing analytical reports that provide actionable insights on fraud patterns. - Identifying ideas for new Machine Learning features or rules, working closely with Data Science teams to improve model performance. - Keeping up to date on the latest fraud trends. You will be learning more about: - Identifying fraud patterns, trends and emerging threats. - Fraud attributes for a variety of verticals within the e-commerce industry. - Fighting fraud in North America, Latam, EMEA, and APAC. - Using sophisticated fraud prevention tools. Qualifications - Have proven ability to make decisions with limited and conflicting information. - Have strong data analysis and interpretation skills. - Have strong critical thinking skills with advanced judgment capability. - Have an ability to manage multiple assignments while working independently. - Have strong communication & presentation skills. - Have flexibility to work weekends and holidays. - Be familiar with data analytics & end user software such as Looker or SQL. - Be highly proficient in G-suite (Doc, Sheets, Slides) /Microsoft Office (Excel). - Be fluent in English. Role Description Symetra is seeking a Sr. Market Intelligence Analyst to join our Stop Loss Product team. This is a highly visible, high-impact role for someone who thrives at the intersection of market insight, analytics, relationship-building, and strategic storytelling. You’ll serve as a trusted source of intelligence on the stop loss market—translating competitive signals and data into actionable insight for product, sales, and senior leadership. In this role, you will own and elevate Symetra’s understanding of the employer stop loss market. You’ll proactively monitor competitor activity, broker and carrier behavior, and industry trends, turning fragmented information into clear narratives that influence product strategy, sales positioning, and go-to-market decisions.
