Senior Solution Architect – GridOS Advanced Distribution Management System

• demonstrate how our solutions meet the evolving demands of Distribution System Operators (DSOs) in a decarbonizing world • collaborate with internal development, technical pre-sales, and commercial teams to build pipeline, drive complex sales cycles, and achieve our regional operating plan • Establish a deep understanding of ADMS and Outage Management Systems (OMS) to formulate bespoke solutions for customers across North America (NAM) • Translate electrical market standards and regional regulations into specific GE Vernova product offerings • Act as the "Trusted Advisor" for both customer technologists and internal GE Vernova stakeholders • Lead and write/validate technical proposals to ensure they align perfectly with customer requirements and architectural standards • Present and demonstrate GE Vernova’s Grid Management solutions • Interface directly with Product Management to influence the roadmap based on NAM market trends and customer feedback • Define ADMS control center configurations and design robust architectures that meet both customer needs and GE standards
Job Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related discipline
- 5+ years of experience as a customer-facing technical solution architect
- Proven experience with Distribution Optimization and Outage Response within the North American utility landscape
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and protocols including DNP3, ICCP, and IEC 61850
