Job Description We are on an exciting journey to transform our Finance business process and technology footprint leveraging SAP S/4 HANA here at NBCUniversal! We are about a year into our transformation and are looking to hire a dedicated leader to help with all aspects of program mgmt. for this massive effort. The Director, ERP Delivery & Portfolio Operations role involves overseeing and executing the successful implementation and operation of several SAP S/4HANA projects, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline while managing resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations. Within NBCUniversal's SAP S/4 Financial transformation, this leader plays a pivotal role in coordinating efforts across finance and technology teams to support the transition from legacy ERP to SAP S/4HANA, facilitating technical design, implementation, and deployment for the Project Keystone program. The right leader will need to have S/4 functional and platform experience as well as experience having delivered S/4 transformations to be successful in this role. Roles and Responsibilities ERP Delivery: - Collaborate with the Finance Transformation Office and Finance PM to develop and implement the overall project management strategy aligned with organizational goals and SAP S/4HANA transformation objectives. - Responsible for building technical cross-functional strategies for deployment, testing, cutover, and go-live preparation. - Review contract compliance and execution as part of the program's financial controls. Manage milestone based and T&M vendor contracts, along with all vendor-based billing and invoicing in partnership with Accounts Payable and O&T Vendor Operations. - Monitor project budgets and financials, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial targets. Report on project financial health and escalating budget risks as needed. - Manage risk processes to identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, while maintaining the risk register. Oversee issue resolution and escalate as needed. - Maintain SAP project quality and compliance standards. Check deliverables for accuracy and alignment with business needs. Conduct audits and enforce corrective actions when necessary. - Liaise with O&T Finance to develop financial pacing views for the program - Establish and monitor resource allocation and capacity planning to efficiently meet project demands. Portfolio Operations: - Establish program standards to streamline project planning, timeline management, resource allocation, risk management, project estimation, change control and milestone tracking. Define PMO governance frameworks, methodologies, standards, and best practices tailored for SAP projects. - Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor project and operational health and delivery success. - Lead delivery of technology strategy development in alignment with leadership and convert to executive ready PowerPoint presentations - Develop executive ready PowerPoint presentations, status reports highlighting all aspects of program health. - Additional assignments as required. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. - 10+ years of related professional or technical experience. - 8+ years of Extensive experience in SAP S/4 HANA implementation. - 5+ years of experience of people management in a technology leadership role. - Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA modules, functionalities, and implementation processes is must. - Experience in leading at least 3 + ERP transformation initiatives and helping users adapt to new systems and processes at least two are SAP S/4 transformations - Media experience a plus - Experience leading Interfaces and Boundary System transformations - Experience with various project management methodologies, such as Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid approaches. - Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams, stakeholders, and communication channels. - Ability to analyze complex situations, identify root causes, and make sound decisions to keep the project on track. - Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT projects. - Strong understanding of business processes preferably within Finance areas and their integration with SAP systems. - Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. - PMP or other relevant project management certification is a plus.
