• Leading the design, development, modification, and evaluation of highly complex electrical components and systems • Collaborating with a diverse team of engineers and technicians • Contributing to the development of innovative solutions • Mentoring less experienced engineers and technicians • Acting as the technical lead for specialized projects • Conducting tests and simulations to validate the performance of electrical systems and components • Documenting design processes, test results, and modifications for future reference • Providing advanced technical support and troubleshooting assistance for electrical systems and components • Participating in team meetings and contributing to project planning and progress discussions
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or Masters +6 yrs experience)
- Typically 8+ years of related experience
- Specialized expertise in a particular area (e.g., power systems, control systems, EWIS, CD&H, etc)
- In-depth knowledge of relevant industry standards
- Advanced knowledge of electrical and avionic systems architectures and their design
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve more complex problems
- Ability to provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced engineers
- Knowledge of requirements management, functional requirements parsing, derivation, and allocation
- Knowledge of systems integration, technical risk identification and management strategies, and Verification and Validation (V&V) principles
- Experience performing trade studies to support subsystem architecture decisions

Role Description We are looking for a BIM Associate I to join our team in a fully remote capacity. In this role, you will support the design and modeling of architectural and engineering projects, focusing on: - Creating and managing Onboarding permit drawings (light, permit, enterprise). - Assisting with schematic design and tender package creation. - Converting point clouds into Revit models and supporting with sales plans. - Modeling Revit families and assisting in basic building systems coordination. - Producing graphic materials and presentations to communicate design concepts. - Providing testfit design support as needed.
