SAP Specialist I – FI

• Your role will be critical in managing and evolving the SAP environment for Finance, ensuring technical excellence and alignment with business needs: • Actively work to ensure and optimize the entire software lifecycle (Development, Operation and Support) for the Finance area, ensuring system stability and continuous evolution • Proactively seek system solutions and process improvements to add business value. This includes actively monitoring technological trends and evolution to recommend and implement innovations; • Lead the technical design, configuration and deployment of robust SAP solutions, based on best practices and the resolution of complex issues; • Maintain close, consultative contact with users (Key Users) to improve applications and data quality, translating challenges into clear and effective specifications; • Maintain strategic alignment, ensuring full adherence to IT policies, standards and processes, acting as a multiplier of knowledge and best practices; • Work with multidisciplinary teams (Key Users, Tech and suppliers), focused on driving and leading solutions, preparing system specifications, and overseeing quality, development and deployment.

Job Requirements

  • We are looking for a person with proven expertise, a senior outlook and deep knowledge of mission-critical environments;
  • Experience in systems, with deep knowledge of SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) in Financial processes (FI/CO module);
  • Be an SAP ECC or S/4 Finance Specialist in the Core modules (New GL, AR, AP, AA);
  • Proven experience in conversion and/or implementation projects from SAP ECC to SAP S/4HANA, using the SAP Activate methodology or similar;
  • Deep understanding of process/business flows in industrial and/or distribution sectors;
  • Ability to be the person who drives improvements, taking responsibility for complete problem resolution;
  • Ability to thoroughly analyze issues, challenge processes and always seek the most robust solution;
  • Ease in relating with other areas, vendors and third parties and building trusted relationships, acting as an internal consultant;
  • Experience in agile, collaborative teams;
  • Ability to work autonomously;
  • Desirable: experience in Managerial Accounting (Controlling - CO);
  • Desirable: practical experience with Workflow and debugging (reading) skills for analysis and problem resolution;
  • Desirable: experience or familiarity with SAP FIORI to improve the user experience.
