• Engage with strategic customers and partners in Japan in solution presentations, demonstrations and proof of concepts to support regional revenue growth. • Collaborate with sales teams, partners, and internal stakeholders to support regional revenue goals and extend market reach. • Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the sales cycle, helping customers understand the value of solutions. • Manage and maintain the Customer Demo Lab environment, ensuring operational readiness and supporting test scenarios. • Collaborate with engineering and product teams on test setups and contribute to automation and innovation efforts within the lab. • Deploy, configure, and maintain Extreme Networks hardware and software in the lab.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, solutions architecture, or network consulting.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, switching/routing, wireless LAN, and/or cloud-managed networks.
  • Good understanding of the Network Industry Landscape
  • Experience working with vendors such as Cisco, Aruba, Juniper, or similar.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Understanding of cloud-managed networking platforms and integration with security and automation workflows.
  • Solid troubleshooting skills with CLI, SNMP, and packet analysis tools (e.g., Wireshark).
  • Experience with network simulation and testing tools
  • Comfortable with both physical and virtual network environments.
  • Vendor certifications that demonstrate expertise in networking, wireless technologies, access control and cloud are highly preferred
  • Experience as a Network Engineer or Lab Engineer in a technical environment.

Role Description The Mobility & Integration System Engineer will provide specialist technical services to support Defence Mobility (DM) capabilities across OFFICIAL, PROTECTED and SECRET environments. The role focuses on Unified Endpoint Management (UEM) / Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms and associated mobile ICT (MICT) systems. The successful candidates will deliver ongoing sustainment, system operations, integration support, testing, assurance, and technical advice in accordance with Defence ICT policies and service management processes, under Commonwealth oversight.
