Eclipse Foundation
• Manage the full lifecycle of project participation • Lead the creation of exploitation strategies, market analysis, and business plans • Initiate and organize workshops, hackathons, and conferences • Support project developers in adopting the Eclipse Development Process (EDP) • Contribute to EU project proposals • Promote the Foundation’s vision in strategic research agendas • Ensure high-quality execution of tasks, including regular reporting of workload, expenses, and deliverables
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years in EU Research programs (Horizon Europe, Horizon 2020, etc.)
- Proven track record in writing EU project proposals
- Solid understanding of challenges in Dataspaces, IoT, AI, and/or Cloud Computing
- Experience organizing contributions from diverse, distributed teams and multi-stakeholder consortiums
- Familiarity with software development lifecycles, including CI/CD tools and collaborative platforms (GitLab/GitHub)
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Familiarity with the Eclipse Foundation ecosystem, open source governance models and community building practices is preferred
- Experience in developing market analysis and commercial sustainability models for research outputs
- Knowledge of web-based communications, including Social Media management (LinkedIn, X) and email marketing (HubSpot)
- Proven ability to work effectively in a 100% remote, distributed environment
