The Air Force, Space and Intelligence Business Group (AFSI) of SAIC is seeking a ServiceNow Software Developer Senior to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA. The ServiceNow Software Developer Senior will play a pivotal role in the DCSA AT client engagement by leveraging their expertise in the ServiceNow platform to enhance, optimize, and automate IT service management and business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ServiceNow development, excellent problem-solving skills, and a deep understanding of ITIL processes. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements, design solutions, and implement ServiceNow modules and functionalities to meet the needs of the DCSA. This position is remote. Key Responsibilities - ServiceNow Development: - Develop and configure ServiceNow functionality using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, Script Includes, and Flow Designer. - Customize ServiceNow applications and facilitate configuration management of all implemented changes. - Develop workflows, scripts, business rules, UI policies, UI actions, client scripts, and notifications. - Scripting & Automation: - Write and maintain server-side and client-side JavaScript. - Implement automation using Flow Designer. - Use Glide APIs to manipulate data and enforce logic. - Support integrations by consuming or exposing REST/SOAP APIs under guidance. - Integration and Automation: - Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs and integration hub. - Automate routine tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual efforts. - Data & Platform Support: - Maintain data quality across ServiceNow tables. - Configure reference fields, choice lists, and catalog items. - Support CMDB updates and basic relationship management. - Perform data imports and transform maps. - Testing & Issue Resolution: - Perform unit testing and functional testing of developed solutions. - Troubleshoot defects and production issues. - Fix bugs and implement change requests. - Support UAT and post-deployment validation. - Platform Support: - Monitor assigned functionality for performance and reliability. - Identify and report technical debt or platform risks. - Adhere to ServiceNow best practices and upgrade-safe development patterns.
