Role Description We are seeking a strategic, high-energy leader to oversee BILL’s Business Development organization across all product areas, with a primary strategic goal of driving the team upmarket. This role is ideal for a proven sales development leader who is passionate about BDR strategy, pipeline creation, and scaling systems. - Lead, coach, and develop a team of 7 front-line BDR managers and 50+ reps, building a high-performance culture rooted in accountability, development, and results. - Drive the outbound strategy, focusing on creating Account-Based Marketing (ABM) motions. - Champion the adoption of artificial intelligence and emerging sales tech. - Partner closely with Account Executive (AE) leaders to drive conversions and leverage data and tools. - Set and execute the overall strategy for the organization, ensuring consistent pipeline contribution and KPI attainment. - Develop senior-level leadership capabilities within your management team through regular coaching and performance management. - Drive organizational effectiveness by evaluating team structure, workflows, and lead handoff practices. - Build scalable onboarding, training, and manager enablement programs. Qualifications - Mandatory second-line leadership experience, with at least two years at this level. - Proven experience leading at scale, ideally managing a team of approximately 50 people. - Experience with Multi-Product Adoption, developing strategies for selling multiple products and services. - Mandatory experience launching and leveraging AI tools for inbound and outbound motions. - Strong expertise in driving outbound strategy and ABM motions. - Experience in larger, established organizations. - Exceptional coaching skills with the ability to develop managers and improve execution at scale. - Strong analytical and operational mindset, partnering with Ops to drive continuous improvement. - Executive presence and strong communication skills to influence senior stakeholders.
