Role Description We are looking for an experienced MySQL DBA, who can cover both database maintenance, failover, optimization etc, as well as help with SQL/Stored procedures optimization. - Be a part of rapid development cycles to deliver high-quality products - Hands-on Development of infrastructure and maintenance - Be responsible for all databases in the organization, including development DBs, Staging DBs, and Production DBs - Cover Admin aspects like: Security, Failover/replication, Optimization etc. - Cover Design aspects like: table structure, indexing, query / stored procedures design etc. - Incorporate products, work procedures, best practices, and architecture - Going over specifications documents thoroughly to find special cases and scenarios - Cooperate with dev, QA, and devops teams - Becoming the house expert on Database - Train developers and QA on database-related topics Qualifications - 5 years experience as DBA, at least 3 of them as MySQL DBA - Hands-on experience with DBA failover, security, optimization, backup etc. - Hands-on experience with DB design, testing, and maintenance - Self-managed, can work as a single DBA in the organization - Experience with a scripting language - Python, Bash - Issue resolution abilities and good analysis to root cause detection - Mandatory -- good English, both written and spoken Requirements - Developed in C++, specifically calling MySQL from it - Financial background: FIX protocol, FX trading - Experience with Jira, SVN, Jenkins

Role Description We are seeking a Big Data & Infrastructure Architect to spearhead the data architecture for our new FX Trading Analytics platform. You will be the primary authority on the big-data engine that powers real-time and historical analysis of liquidity, fill ratios, and market impact. This is a foundational role where you will select, implement, and optimize the "brain" of our analytics suite. The position is a remote position based in Ukraine. Key Responsibilities: - Architecture & Tool Selection: Evaluate and select the optimal Big Data/NoSQL engine to handle high-frequency FX market data and trade execution logs. - Infrastructure Ownership: Own the end-to-end installation, configuration, scaling, and long-term maintenance of the database environment. - System Design & Configuration: Design the database schema and storage strategy to support massive datasets while ensuring high availability and resilience. - Query & Performance Optimization: Build and tune complex time-series queries (calculating metrics like Effective Spread and Last Look Hold Times) to ensure sub-second responses for real-time monitoring tools. - Knowledge Leadership: Act as the subject matter expert, training GUI developers and team members on best practices for efficient data retrieval and interaction with the data layer. - Technical Collaboration: Work closely with the team leader and GUI developers to ensure the data infrastructure perfectly supports the product requirements. Qualifications - Deep knowledge of at least one industry-leading Big Data or Time-Series database (e.g., ClickHouse, InfluxDB, or ScyllaDB/Cassandra). - Proven experience managing "high-velocity" data environments (streaming ticks, execution logs, and order book events). - Strong proficiency in writing and optimizing complex queries for massive datasets (billions of rows). - Extensive experience in a Linux-heavy environment with a focus on system-level performance and low-latency tuning. - Ability to translate business metrics into efficient data structures without necessarily writing application-level code. - Excellent English communication skills. Role Description We are seeking a hands-on leader to head our application team. This is a 50% Hands-on / 50% Management role, managing a team of up to 5 developers & QA and reporting directly to the VP R&D. The position is fully remote. - Lead and mentor a team of up to 5 developers & QA, ensuring high-quality delivery and professional growth. - Act as a hands-on leader, spending 50% of your time on core development and architecture. - Lead projects within our application team, creating high-end automatic financial trading systems. - Work directly with customers to translate business needs into technical solutions. - Take an active role in requirements definition and DevOps processes.
