Title Specialist

Copart

Role Description The Remote Title Express Specialist has various roles. Responsibilities include: - Assisting auto insurance companies with the procurement of vehicle titles and title paperwork. - Working with financial institutions and vehicle owners. - Analyzing and resolving issues related to aged or obsolete inventory. - Handling and resolving high-priority or complex customer inquiries and complaints received via email. - Cross-training and assisting the training department as a Subject Matter Expert when necessary. - Tracking and reporting common trends within your daily workload. Additional responsibilities include: - Answering basic TP questions, giving claim updates, and directing callers to the correct party/team if applicable. - Creating and sending all documents required per state guidelines for Total Loss Packets. - Following up with owners/insureds for needed or corrected documents. - Following up with Lien Holders for documents listed in the initial call. - Sending out revised packets to the owners/insureds as needed. - Meeting internal cycle times and other auditable criteria. - Reviewing all uploaded documents to ensure compliance per State guidelines. - Launching the "Okay to Pay" to owner/insured or LH when necessary. - Monitoring and working a shared inbox to ensure tasks and directives are addressed and completed per company policy, timelines, and contractual obligations. - Reviewing and working all aged inventory to expedite resolution and file closure. - May be a direct point of contact for Copart sellers. Qualifications - Strong communication skills. - Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues. - Experience in customer service. - Knowledge of vehicle title processes. Requirements - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Proficiency in using email and other communication tools. - Attention to detail. - Ability to meet deadlines and internal cycle times.
