Travel Rule Specialist

• Responsible for monitoring and handling all travel rule-related transactions and activity using supporting third-party solutions and internally developed systems. • Ensure all transactions requiring sender or receiver information for travel rule compliance are able to meet those requirements based on applicable jurisdictional rules. • Prevent transactions from occurring that would violate travel rule requirements until all required information is obtained to verify the sender or receiver information. • Coordinate the conduct of periodic account/customer reviews to detect potentially suspicious activity while documenting steps taken through the investigation process. • Coordinate the Identification and escalation of any issues that impact the quality of the travel rule compliance. • Ensure appropriate action is taken by other TM/TS team members on accounts that have participated in suspicious blockchain activity. • Support the Team Lead for Alerts, Reporting, and Travel Rule to ensure teams prepare required SARS or other required reporting accurately and timely. • Develop, regularly update and ensure accuracy of all tracking logs for metrics reporting. • Support and develop a team-oriented and collaborative environment to improve the analytical and reporting processes. • Coordinate or lead all other activities as assigned.

Job Requirements

  • College degree with strong academic credentials
  • 2+ years Compliance Experience, including directly relevant to the position
  • Knowledge of travel rule requirements in the US, UK, EU, and Bermuda
  • Knowledge of travel rule solutions and networks, such as Notabene, Trust, Sum&Sub, etc.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skill
  • Hardworking and driven
  • Strong time management skills and ability to execute tasks within tight deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills necessary to work effectively with colleagues across regions and business units
  • Ability to multi-task effectively maintain attention detail
  • Strong familiarity with Google Suite and Microsoft Suite products
  • Crypto experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and Vlookups, preferred
