• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Electric Reliability Organization Enterprise regulatory compliance trends • Evaluate registered entities’ adherence to NERC Reliability Standards (Operations and Planning) and CIP standards • Assist in identifying and developing improvements to compliance processes and procedures • Develop Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets and evaluate Bulk Electric System (BES) applicability • Ensure timely completion of compliance deliverables • Conduct in-depth reviews of business unit processes, procedures, and controls to assess effectiveness of reliability standards adherence • Independently carry out complex projects and assignments
Job Requirements
- 2 year degree from accredited institution that focuses on electrical theory and concepts.
- Work experience may be used in lieu of education.
- Proficiency in computer applications relevant for field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Developed planning and continuous improvement skills
- Strong time management, prioritization, and organization skills
- Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Background and understanding of the fundamentals of electricity.
- Experience with distribution and transmission electric equipment.
- General knowledge of NERC Operations, and Planning (693) Standards and Cyber Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Standards
- Proven ability to ensure timely completion of all compliance deliverables
- Ability to perform in-depth reviews of business unit processes, procedures, and related controls to determine the effectiveness of reliability standards adherence and compliance practices
- Ability to carry out complex projects and assignments independently
