Job Summary The Community Liaison is responsible for meeting an international nurse, and their family, at the airport, assisting them to get settled in their apartment, utility set-up (if applicable), applying for an SSN(Social Security Number), pre-employment appointments, shopping, etc. Job Responsibilities - Facilitate and coordinate the integration of international nurses into the local community. - Provide cultural orientation and support to help international nurses adapt to the local customs, traditions, and healthcare practices. - Assist international nurses in understanding and aligning with local regulations, licensing requirements, and professional standards. - Address any concerns or challenges faced by international nurses and act as an advocate on their behalf. - Coordinate social events and activities to promote networking and interaction between international nurses and the local community. - Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the international nurses' community integration activities and progress. - Stay updated on immigration laws, visa requirements, and other relevant policies affecting international nurses. Qualifications Education & Years of Experience - Associate's Degree plus 2-5 years of work experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 4-7 years of work experience Additional Experience - Must have excellent customer service experience combined with strong detail orientation and organizational skills - Must have a valid driver’s license - We provide the Community Liaison with a rental car/van during their services - All applicants must be at least 25 years old, due to the company’s rental car insurance policy Work Environment / Physical Requirements - Work is performed in an office/home office environment. - Team Members must have the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards. Role Description Originates mortgage loans in an assigned non-bank territory. Takes applications, conducts preliminary underwriting reviews, submits loan applications to processing and underwriting for approval. Follows-up to ensure that documents required for processing, underwriting, and closing are secured in a timely manner from appropriate sources. Incumbents are customarily and regularly engaged in making and soliciting loan sales and conducting sales-related activities away from U.S. Bank locations. Incumbents are expected to spend at least 50% of their time conducting their activities away from U.S. Bank locations. This position requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration under the terms of the S.A.F.E. Act of 2008 and Regulation Z. You will be subject to the required registration process, which includes a criminal background and credit check. Failure to meet or maintain any of the NMLS registration requirements, including maintaining a satisfactory criminal and credit record, may result in a rescission of your offer or termination of employment.
