Multimedia Designer
Shatterproof
• Design visually compelling assets and templates for social media, email campaigns, web content, events, and print materials — ensuring alignment with Shatterproof’s brand identity and mission. • Create data visualizations and infographics that translate research, impact metrics, and program results into clear, accessible, and shareable visuals. • Produce video and motion graphics content optimized for social platforms (TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube, LinkedIn) and website storytelling. • Edit short-form and long-form videos, including testimonials, Walk highlights, and executive messaging. • Support the development of presentations, one-pagers, and campaign collateral for internal and external audiences. • Help develop and manage Shatterproof’s YouTube presence, including channel organization, thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and SEO best practices. • Manage relationships with freelance photographers and videographers for events, campaigns, and field capture (briefing, shot lists, deliverables, timelines, intake, organization). • Collaborate with internal teams to produce cohesive creative aligned to editorial and campaign calendars. • Maintain and evolve Shatterproof’s brand-style guide, templates, and design systems. • Participate in creative planning sessions to conceptualize visuals that support campaign objectives and audience insights. • Implement best practices for metadata, tagging, naming conventions, and usage rights tracking. • Work closely with the Director of Strategic Communications to ensure design aligns with organizational storytelling and earned media moments. • Partner with the Senior Manager of Direct Response to adapt creative for paid campaigns and web optimization. • Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing creative excellence with timely delivery.
Job Requirements
- 3–5 years’ experience in graphic design, motion graphics, or multimedia content production (nonprofit or agency background preferred).
- Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects) and Canva.
- Strong skills in video editing and motion design, including short-form and social-first formats.
- Proven ability to create data visualizations and infographics that make complex information digestible and engaging.
- Experience designing for multiple platforms (social, web, print, and presentation).
- Familiarity with accessibility and inclusivity standards in design.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about Shatterproof’s mission and eager to advance social impact through visual storytelling.
