Role Description We’re looking for someone who understands the heart of online communities — and knows how to nurture them. If you're passionate about Minecraft, fluent in Discord culture, and ready to create a space where players feel heard, welcome, and excited to return — we want you on our team. This position starts as an unpaid volunteer role with the potential to develop into a paid contractor position. - Manage day-to-day interactions on Discord, forums, and social media channels to foster a welcoming, safe community - Monitor and moderate player discussions, enforce community guidelines, and escalate issues as needed - Collect, organize, and relay player feedback to internal teams to inform development and content decisions - Coordinate community events, announcements, and engagement initiatives in collaboration with other teams - Support onboarding and training of new moderators and community volunteers - Maintain clear, transparent communication with the player base regarding updates, rules, and server news - Track community sentiment and engagement metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities - Assist in creating content for social media and official communications when needed Qualifications - Proven experience managing online communities, ideally in gaming or Minecraft related environments - Strong communication skills with the ability to engage positively and professionally with a diverse player base - Deep understanding of Minecraft community culture, player expectations, and common challenges - Experience using Discord and other community platforms (forums, social media) for moderation and engagement - Ability to handle player feedback, moderate discussions, and resolve conflicts with empathy and fairness - Comfortable collaborating closely with developers, content creators, and moderators - Organized and proactive — able to manage daily community needs while contributing to long-term engagement strategies - Basic knowledge of moderation tools and workflows; experience with bots and permissions a plus - Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required; English proficiency is a plus - Expected availability of around 10–15 hours per week with flexibility Benefits - A unique opportunity to shape the community experience of a brand-new Minecraft network - Full access to internal communication platforms, moderation tools, and community management resources - Dedicated servers and channels tailored for efficient community engagement and event coordination - Clear guidelines, feedback loops, and project management tools to support your daily work - Close collaboration with a motivated and skilled team of developers, content members, QA, and moderators - A motivated and friendly staff team that values communication, transparency, and respect - Fully remote – work from anywhere

Role Description We are seeking Mortgage Community Development Managers (CDM). The individual(s) will originate quality mortgage loans on 1-4 family properties for low to moderate income (LMI) and minority borrowers in partnership with supported external non-profit organizations. CDM will also ensure that all housing non-profit partners in each geographic market are aware of all mortgage loan products and services offered by the bank. This role requires a deep knowledge of the Community Reinvestment Act (CRA), as it relates to lending, and knowledge of various grants and subsidy programs to fill affordable housing mortgage gap. This role requires substantial knowledge of affordable housing programs and first-time homebuyer education programs. Qualifications - High School Diploma required; bachelor’s degree is preferred. - Five years’ experience in community development lending or minority mortgage lending with a focus on bridging the homeownership gap of underserved communities; minimum 1 year of experience in the mortgage industry in a leadership role. - Must have experience with broad program & mortgage investor guidelines. - Housing counseling, financial planning and mortgage credit counseling experience. - Good listener and self-starter with demonstrated ability to work with minimal hands-on direction. - Must have excellent interpersonal skills to represent the Southern in a positive way in dealing with customers and other employees. - Must have the ability to travel within market and must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage. - Fluency in a second language is preferred but not required.
