Role Description The Principal, Pricing and Analytics provides oversight for pharmacy network activities, focusing on the alignment of pharmacy and client network strategies. This role is responsible for the integrity of financial true-ups, advanced analytics, and high-level reporting to drive organizational revenue and cost savings. The Principal manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders and oversees the analysis of large-scale claim data to optimize pricing configurations and ensure all contractual guarantees are met. Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Orchestrates pharmacy network strategies to fulfill corporate initiatives, support product offerings, and grow revenue streams through complex data analytics using a deep understanding of PBM industry, technical skills, and team collaboration. - Governs all pharmacy network activities, including the execution of pharmacy and client true-ups, analytics, and performance reporting. - Directs comprehensive analyses to identify enhanced revenue opportunities through strategic network configurations and monthly client performance evaluations. - Translates complex pharmacy transaction data into actionable insights to ensure all pharmacy and client contract guarantees are met. - Leads the development of automated reporting tools to streamline the reconciliation of pricing data and enhance departmental efficiency. - Monitors and calibrates performance for all clients, adjusting pricing structures to maximize revenue while maintaining market competitiveness. - Spearheads the implementation of strategic pricing initiatives in collaboration with cross-functional teams. - Manages the rigorous tracking and monitoring of pricing benchmarks to ensure consistent alignment with contractual obligations. - Provides expert guidance on network performance and pricing trends to internal stakeholders and senior management. - Engineers advanced analytical models to forecast the financial impact of proposed network changes or pricing adjustments. Qualifications - BA/BS Degree; 10+ years related experience and 8+ years of SME in respective area(s); (or equivalent combination of education and experience). - Advanced SQL knowledge, Expert Microsoft Excel, and Golden (SQL query tool). - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. - Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems. - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. - Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. • Mentor and support data analysts, data engineers and developers, fostering a collaborative and psychologically safe environment. • Set high standards for technical excellence in SQL, dbt modeling, and LookML architecture. • Collaborate with other analytics engineers on the migration of legacy logic from Redshift/Postgres into performant Databricks silver and gold layers. • Independently implement complex data models in dbt, demonstrating expertise in modularity, testing, and performance optimization on Spark. • Own the LookML layer, ensuring our explores and dashboards are performant, intuitive, and accurate. • Act as a "Hybrid Analyst," comfortably balancing long-term engineering projects with ad-hoc requests to support the business. • Translate stakeholder questions into Looker-based reports and visualizations, ensuring the business has the right insights at the right time. • Lead technical data planning through discovery, design, and release, ensuring clear documentation for data catalogs and version tracking. • Identify opportunities for "data debt" reduction and architectural improvements in our Lakehouse and semantic layers. • Proactively address system characteristics like latency and throughput, ensuring our data pipelines are optimized for cost and speed. • Act as a subject matter expert in your data domain, contributing to business strategy to ensure we are measuring what matters. • Provide engineering perspectives on the product roadmap, clearly communicating data feasibility and reporting limitations.

• Report to the team lead and be a key contributor to our migration from a legacy SQL Server data stack to a modern cloud data stack consisting of Snowflake, dbt and Tableau • Design and build data pipelines using Snowpark and/or Snowpipe where native connectors do not exist for Snowflake for various data sources • Contribute to designing and building a new multi-dimensional data model in Snowflake • Work closely with our Business Intelligence Analytics team - monitoring and implementing enhancement requests for the data warehouse to meet the reporting demands of stakeholders
