Manager, Billing Analytics

• Partner closely with Reimbursement Operations leaders to understand business challenges, define analytical needs, and deliver data-driven insights that support operational and strategic decisions. • Design, develop, and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytical models across the full lifecycle, from requirements gathering through deployment and iteration. • Perform deep-dive analyses to quantify operational performance, identify trends, surface risks, and uncover opportunities for improvement. • Work extensively with Python, R, SQL, Excel, and BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI to analyze and visualize data. • Capture and document business and technical requirements, perform quality control checks, and support user acceptance testing in partnership with stakeholders. • Prepare and maintain recurring reports and key performance indicators to monitor reimbursement and billing operational health. • Support training and enablement of end users on dashboards and analytical tools to promote data literacy and self-service analytics. • Collaborate cross-functionally with data, technology, finance, and operations teams in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT, STEM, or related field; other degrees considered with relevant experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical analytics role.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and experience using it for analytical purposes.
- Intermediate experience with Python and/or R for data analysis and modeling.
- Hands-on experience modeling data in cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Proven experience designing and delivering dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau or a comparable BI platform, with a strong focus on clarity and usability.
- Ability to manipulate, integrate, and analyze large, complex, and disconnected datasets.
- Experience working directly with business stakeholders, managing expectations, and translating business questions into analytical solutions.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to clearly communicate insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to independently own complex problems, learn new technologies quickly, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational skills and a solid understanding of business processes and systems.
