• Implementar, corrigir e evoluir funcionalidades em sistemas internos baseados em .NET e Angular; • Realizar manutenção preventiva e corretiva no código existente, assegurando qualidade, performance e segurança; • Desenvolver consultas em Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB ou DynamoDB; • Apoiar integrações simples utilizando filas (Kafka, SQS) e armazenamento em S3; • Executar testes unitários e funcionais básicos; • Documentar código e alterações conforme padrões definidos pela equipe; • Colaborar com colegas de desenvolvimento e demais áreas para entender requisitos e propor soluções técnicas adequadas; • Apoiar a evolução contínua dos sistemas, sugerindo melhorias e ajustes; • Executar outras atividades relacionadas ao desenvolvimento conforme orientação; • Executar outras atividades correlatas.

Job Requirements

Role Description The Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Neumo’s Tax Administration and Revenue SaaS applications, including but not limited to Business License Online, RDSNet and related products. Reporting to the Development Manager, this role works within a cross-functional product team to deliver compliant, reliable, and maintainable application enhancements driven by legislative and client requirements. This position focuses on application development, production support, and incremental enhancement/modernization of existing systems rather than greenfield platform development. - Analyze legislative, regulatory, and stakeholder requirements per Product's request - Design, develop, test, and deploy enhancements across Tax Administration products, including Business License Online and RDSNet - Implement compliant updates to meet state and local tax mandates - Write clean, well-designed, maintainable code following established standards - Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application and database components - Participate in Agile/SCRUM ceremonies, including planning, estimation, and retrospectives - Collaborate with Product Owners, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders to deliver prioritized work - Perform functional validation and support testing efforts to ensure system stability - Document changes and implementation details where appropriate - Support production systems and assist with issue resolution and root-cause analysis - Apply best practices for reliability, maintainability, and security within existing application architectures - Provide continuity and technical ownership in areas previously supported in a contractor capacity - Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field required. - Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience in enterprise or SaaS environments. - Experience developing web-based applications using .NET technologies (C# preferred) and working with relational databases (SQL Server preferred). - Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments. - Experience supporting applications in production environments and troubleshooting performance or integration issues. - Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and CI/CD pipelines is preferred. - Experience working with government, tax, licensing, financial systems, or other regulated industries is a plus.
