Job Description

Senior Environmental Permitting Specialist

AECOM

• Support a wide range of diverse and exciting projects in multiple client sectors including Energy, State Infrastructure Projects, Federal Sector Projects and Industrial Projects • Require environmental permitting experience in Massachusetts and other New England States with particular expertise with the Massachusetts Wetlands Protection Act Regulations, S. 404/401 of the CWA, MEPA, Ch.91 and related land-use regulations • Attend and lead public presentations • Work within a team environment

Job Requirements

  • BA / BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Sciences or related field
  • 8 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and / or education
  • Environmental permitting experience is required
  • Due to the nature of work, US citizenship is required
  • Valid Driver’s License and as a condition of employment must be able to pass AECOM’s Motor Vehicle Records review
  • MS and 12+ years of permitting experience preferred
  • Background in Wetland Science, Policy and Land Use Regulations desired
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and computer skills required
