Field Service Engineer 1

Role Description Responsible for ensuring Onto Innovations customers receive a high level of support through real time communication and system knowledge. - Install new systems within the US region. - Respond to customer requests for tool support and regular maintenance. - Provide technical assistance to ONTO's US customers in real time in both onsite and remote situations. - Read electrical and hardware schematics. - Communicate daily status both internally and externally. - Time management in high pressure situations. - Flexibility and adaptability. Qualifications - Preferred Field Service experience in the Semiconductor Industry. - College/University degree in engineering. - Ability to identify and use common hand tools. - Ability to work unsupervised yet within a team setting. - Troubleshooting experience in electrical, mechanical and software applications. - Excellent interpersonal & communication skills in a technical environment. - Ability to utilize all Microsoft Office products including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. - Ability to travel regularly throughout the US and internationally, approximately 75% of the time. Compensation & Growth - Base Salary Range: $56,240.00 - $84,360.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications. - Annual bonus opportunities and potential long-term incentives tied to both company and individual success.
