• Designing , building, managing, maintaining, and securing HMG’s cloud infrastructure (virtual machines, containers, virtual private cloud network, identity management, storage, database and serverless services) • Ensure cloud infrastructure performance, uptime, and scale • Secure cloud infrastructure in accordance with security policies • Work with Product Engineering teams to implement and improve CI/CD pipelines • Be a persistent, creative problem solver • Maintaining an eye toward security, scalability, performance, and maintainability • Work in an agile environment along with Product Engineering • Participating in a mostly remote, results-driven working environment
Job Requirements
- 10+ years of professional infrastructure experience
- 3+ years of AWS Cloud experience; architecting, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS platforms
- Understanding of and experience with the five pillars of a well-architected framework
- Strong Windows and/or Linux server administration skills
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform and CloudFormation
- In-depth knowledge of AWS networking services (Organizations, Control Tower, VPC, EC2, ELB, Route 53, Transit Gateway, and VPC Peering), Compute (EC2, Lambda), containers (docker, Kubernetes, EKS, Fargate), and cloud-native services (S3, API Gateway, SQS, EventBridge, CloudWatch).
- Expertise in securing cloud infrastructure and implementing security tooling
- Strong awareness of networking and internet protocols, including TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, HTTP, and distributed networks
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and Identity Access Management
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
