Role Description As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer - Manual Testing, you will be responsible for performing quality assurance activities for medium to large software development projects and tasks of moderate to advanced complexity within the same and/or different accounts, including gathering and clarifying testing requirements, documenting those requirements, performing the testing process, and certifying solutions. This role is strictly involved in testing the product and does not involve access to Protected Health Information (PHI) & Personally Identifiable Information (PII) or any secured/confidential client data. The work is limited to testing of the product and does not include handling or processing of sensitive health information. - Lead test planning and execution for complex features and releases - Define testing strategies and risk-based testing approaches - Perform advanced exploratory testing and edge-case validation - Review requirements and designs for testability and quality risks - Coordinate UAT efforts with business stakeholders - Mentor and guide junior and mid-level manual testers - Provide release quality assessments and go/no-go recommendations - Escalate quality issues for resolution - Report on testing progress and results Qualifications - 6+ years of experience in manual software testing - Proven experience testing complex, enterprise-level applications - Strong expertise in SDLC, STLC, and quality best practices - Experience working closely with product owners and engineering leads - Excellent documentation, communication, and leadership skills Benefits - Fast-paced, challenging and rewarding work environment - Work life balance - Remote working (2.00 PM to 11.00 PM Shift) Company Description

• Organize, conduct, and schedule all Scrum ceremonies, including stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives • Train and coach team members on agile processes, methods, and tasks to ensure consistent understanding and application of agile practices • Maintain and groom the backlog, facilitating thorough and productive backlog grooming sessions • Manage agile/project artifacts, ensuring all project tracking and documentation are up-to-date and accurately reflect project status • Track progress towards project delivery goals and provide leadership with high-level summaries and updates on project progress • Execute functional testing of web application features, validating stories against acceptance criteria and documenting defects with clear reproduction steps, severity classification, and expected versus actual behavior • Build, maintain, and expand automated regression test suites using Playwright, Cypress, and Selenium with Cucumber/Gherkin BDD patterns, integrated into GitLab CI pipelines for continuous feedback • Create and maintain automated API test collections using Postman and Rest Assured to validate microservice endpoints, inter-service contracts, and integration points with external systems • Create and maintain integration test cases / scenarios • Perform digital accessibility evaluations on coded solutions using automated tools (aXe, pa11y, WAVE, ANDI) and manual techniques (JAWS and NVDA screen reader testing) per WCAG 2.1 AA and Section 508 standards, following the DHS Trusted Tester conformance test process • Document accessibility findings with specific WCAG success criteria references and actionable remediation guidance that enables developers to resolve issues efficiently • Execute load and performance tests using NeoLoad, JMeter, or equivalent tools to validate response times, throughput, and error rates against defined thresholds before production releases • Maintain test plans and test cases in Confluence linked to Jira stories, with test evidence documented for sprint reviews • Collaborate with developers to define clear acceptance criteria and test criteria during backlog refinement, ensuring stories are testable before development begins • Participate fully in Agile ceremonies within a scrum framework: Sprint Planning, Standup, Sprint Review, Retrospective, and Backlog Refinement • Maintain CI-integrated test suites at a 95% pass rate or above and resolve flaky tests promptly to keep automation a reliable quality gate • Support production triage when assigned, diagnosing issues and verifying fixes through the standard CI/CD pipeline • Contribute to test strategy improvements, automation framework enhancements, and knowledge sharing across the project team
