Officer, Government Relations
Mashreq
Role Description The government and regulatory officer would be responsible to attend queries of central bank, Police and courts all over UAE to fulfill all service requirements in a risk-free manner for customer or non-customer and to support the manager in achieving the goals set out by the Division Head. By supporting in development, implementation and maintaining all the government entities requirements, functions and controls to serve the regulators. This position will also interact with respective branch managers; unit heads in addition to liaise between CIBG, RBG, Operations and HO to address all issues of the government entities. - Handling Court Orders - “CCMS” Court Cases Management System (All UAE). - Handling Qatar Court Orders. - Handling Police Letters/enquiries routed from MOI or Police Stations (All UAE). - Handling E-Mails Enquires. - Handling Dubai Courts emails. - Handling Public Prosecution and CID (All UAE). - Work thru BPM Either for Police or Court Letters. - Ensure the correspondence are fully complied with all regulatory/authorities’ requirements and policies are strictly adhered to. - Work on increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of support services through improvements to each correspondence. - Coordinate, manage and monitor the working of various activity. - Drive initiatives in government and regulatory unit that contributes to long-term operational excellence. - Investigate & follow up issues with the stakeholders within Mashreq. - Perform other functions as necessary or as assigned. - Maintain and develop working relations with the regulators and other internal/external stakeholders (i.e Tech Team). Qualifications - Knowledge of all Government Related and functional processes. - Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills. - Ability to handle pressure. - Fluent Arabic & English skills (Read, Write & Speak). - Computer literacy - should be well versed with MS Office packages.
