• Manages a team of project managers and project coordinators; ensuring successful market research projects. • Manages resources for accurate and timely delivery of projects. • Partners with leaders of other departments (sales, recruiting) to manage through any challenges, escalations and ultimately the execution of projects, fostering healthy collaboration at all times. • Partners with sales team to assess feasibility and provides support on unique or complex studies, fostering healthy collaboration at all times. • Assigns new projects to team based on knowledge, experience and capacity. • Works collaboratively with internal teams to complete each project within provided timelines and project costs. • Acts as the Operational leader for strategic accounts, ensuring SOPs/SLAs are properly executed and collaborating with sales and client to continually nurture and grow the account. • Drives consistency and efficiency and provides ongoing training and development of their team. • Conducts quality control audits and identifies and/or diagnoses issues for process improvement. • Manages performance and development of direct reports, providing continuous feedback, career coaching and training, both on the job and in a formal capacity. • Identifies skills gap across team, creates training opportunities and develops action plans to remedy. • Maintains weekly or biweekly one-on-one check in meetings with staff, ensuring challenges/successes are discussed and learnings are harvested and applied. • Works with Director of Project Management to ensure the team is on track related to company goals. • Other duties, as assigned.

Role Description We are presently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager who will be responsible to maintain overall responsibility for managing project teams delivering annual project revenues of between $500K to $15M. This includes multiple or multi-site enterprise level projects from pre-booking to customer acceptance. Key Tasks & Responsibilities (Essential Functions) - Carry overall management of Building Automation projects with the following criteria in mind: customer satisfaction, collaborating with the sales team to meet agreed upon profit objectives and meeting or exceeding project completion schedules. - Proactively participate in pre-bid reviews and sales-to-operations turnover meetings, and contribute to the accuracy of the estimate and project layout. - Maintain overall correspondence responsibility for projects. - Maintain overall financial responsibility for projects including: revenue generation and forecasting, costs, billing and overall profitability while pro-actively seeking to 'value engineer' projects to ensure zero or positive deviation from agreed upon objectives. - Prepare and maintain all change orders, request for information and pricing correspondence with client. - Coordinate all field activities for project construction management by developing project plans, schedules, time lines, and costs to complete estimates. - Coordinate with Vendors and Subcontractors to assure competitive cost, best schedule and delivery for all project-related equipment, supply installations and construction services. - Manage Vendors and Subcontractors to ensure quality control and project delivery on time and within budget, while meeting or exceeding customer expectations. - Work within a customer-focused project delivery team to ensure customer and project commitments are met while focusing on key deliverables to customers such as submittals and customer acceptance plans for every project. - Engage with customer to enhance their experience with the Distech Controls Solutions through hands-on instruction in the use of the system tools. - Embrace a continuous improvement spirit to all aspects of participating within a project delivery team. Role Description The primary responsibilities of the Adjunct Faculty member are the instruction and coordination of the Biocon Introduction to US FDA and European Laws and Regulations course for the Henry E. Riggs School of Applied Life Sciences. The Biocon-KGI program is a program in partnership with an Indian Biopharmaceutical company which has a global presence in the areas of diabetes, cancer, and autoimmune diseases. This program helps train recent college graduates in various areas of Drug Development, thereby making them ready to step into industry jobs. Candidates will be expected to have a strong commitment to innovative teaching and active learning. The adjunct faculty appointment is on a term-by-term basis and the course is taught via online synchronous live sessions, which take place on weekday evenings (Pacific Standard Time). The course will be taught in the spring. This course will provide students with broad general competencies in regulatory affairs for all FDA-regulated product classes (drugs, biologics, and devices) throughout the product lifecycle (pre-clinical development, clinical development, and post-marketing). Emphasis will be placed on regulatory interactions - submissions, other communications, and inspections - for each product class and for each phase of the product lifecycle. By the end of this course, the students will understand the structure and function of the FDA related to the Biopharmaceutical industry.
