Role Description Currently, we're looking for a Senior Backend Developer for our portfolio company - memoryOS. memoryOS is the world’s #1 app for improving memory and focus, helping people overcome the forgetting curve and retain needed knowledge. Proven learning and memory techniques are merged with Duolingo-like gamified e-learning with patented virtual mind palace tech. Co-founded by 2X World Memory Champion — Jonas von Essen. We’re a remote team of 30+ diverse, like-minded professionals, united in solving the problem of the forgetting curve. What you’ll be working on: - Develop and maintain scalable backend architecture using Node.js, NestJS, Redis, TypeORM, and PostgreSQL; - Maintain high standards in terms of performance, scalability, and security; - Maintain high code quality in adherence to company standards and best practices; - Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and product discussions; - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies; - Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and Product Owners to ensure successful product delivery. Qualifications - 5+ years of experience as a Backend Developer; - Strong expertise in Node.js and NestJS; - Deep understanding of scalable architecture and system design; - Solid experience with PostgreSQL and performance optimization; - Experience in technical design and application architecture (building applications from scratch to production); - Excellent analytical and ownership skills; - Creative problem-solving mindset with high ethical standards; - Proactive, reliable, and committed to continuous self-development; - Proficiency in English (B2 level). Requirements - Experience with GCP and CI/CD configuration; - Experience with React.
