Strategic Account Manager – Data Center, Telecom

• Meet or exceed established quotas for the assigned brand/market. • Support trade shows, be involved in key organizations/groups, and have a strong background in social selling (LinkedIn). • Make outbound sales calls on sales leads and business development. • Provide primary interface with customers via video, phone, email, and live web chat. • Qualify opportunities and account potential with discovery questions. • Provide weekly sales reports, forecast, pre/post travel reports, and monthly pipeline funnel. • Complete daily sales activities from prospecting to customer follow-up. • Build a strong sales funnel with new targets, growth accounts, and account management of existing customers to push year-over-year growth. • Process RFQs, generate quotes, and follow up to closure. • Perform customer discovery and recommend appropriate associated products, including other brand solutions. • Build a solution for customers with complex Custom/Special requests. • Resolve customer issues, questions, and complaints in a professional and collaborative manner. • Maintain a sales funnel to convert prospects into sales. • Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
- College degree or equivalent experience
- 5 to 8 plus years of strategic sales experience managing programs and business development.
- Strong interpersonal skills and business acumen with a customer-centric focus and urgency to meet strategic objectives.
- Technical sales background, extensive phone contact, account development, and a proven track record in profitable growth.
- In-depth knowledge of product lines and processes, market trends, and the marketplace.
- Professional communication skills, written and spoken English, including correct usage of grammar and sentence structure, and appropriate professional messaging and tone.
- General computer skills, including a solid working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams.
- Experience working in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Experience with a CRM system preferred.
