Federal Solutions Engineer

Role Description We are looking for a sharp, trusted, and autonomous Federal Solutions Engineer to support NinjaOne’s expansion into the Public Sector. As an embedded technical partner to our Federal Growth team, you’ll play a critical role in both pre-sales strategy and post-sale onboarding, acting as a key translator between technical buyer needs and the broader Product and Engineering teams. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in mission-critical moments, loves navigating complex RFPs and government requirements, and can tailor messaging to both deep technical evaluators and high-level decision makers. You’ll serve as a customer advocate internally while building scalable tools, templates, and processes to support the next generation of federal growth. Location - This is a Remote role open to candidates within Virginia or Maryland or those willing to relocate unassisted. Travel Requirement - Up to 40% representing NinjaOne at key industry events, product launches, and customer engagements. Qualifications - 5+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, or Technical Consultant role—within the Public Sector Enterprise space. - Exceptional communicator—capable of clearly articulating complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences, from system administrators to procurement and leadership. - A calm and credible presence in high-stakes, high-pressure customer conversations. - Customer-first mindset—you genuinely care about their experience and success. - Organized, self-directed, and capable of thriving in a remote-first, fast-paced environment. - Familiarity with FedRAMP, DoD Impact Levels, and NIST frameworks is required. - You align with our values Curiosity, Integrity, Kindness, Humility, Builders and are committed to creating an environment where these values flourish in our teams. - Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; respected technical certifications (e.g., Security+, MCSE, CISSP) is preferred. - Ability to obtain a security clearance is required. Requirements - Own the technical presales experience for Federal and SLED accounts, guiding customers through evaluation, demo, architecture design, and onboarding phases. - Deliver tailored product demos and technical deep dives that align with customer security standards, compliance needs (FedRAMP, DoD IL2/4/5), and procurement requirements. - Support and guide the implementation of the NinjaOne platform for new public sector customers—ensuring quick time-to-value and customer success. - Act as the technical translator between Sales and Product—surfacing actionable feedback and feature gaps that directly impact deal velocity or retention. - Assist with RFPs, RFIs, and security questionnaires, providing accurate, compliance-aligned technical responses that differentiate NinjaOne’s value. - Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues, including endpoint configuration, agent behavior, networking challenges, and integrations. - Collaborate with Engineering and Product Management on solution enhancements that improve the Federal customer experience. - Create and maintain reusable content and lab environments to scale future engagements (demos, battlecards, scripts, templates, etc.). - Represent NinjaOne at industry events, partner summits, and key government-facing conferences as a technical ambassador. • Lead the planning and deployment of large scale AI data centers. • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to understand NVIDIA’s reference architectures for data center infrastructure. • Support customers and partners in quickly implementing this architecture into advanced and reliable data center designs. • Review and appraise customers' and partners' infrastructure design plans. • Deliver guidance, expertise and suggestions to optimize performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness. • Assess the operational efficiency, reliability, and readiness of data center infrastructure components before deploying AI/HPC clusters. • Develop and implement comprehensive audit plans and conduct pre-deployment audits to identify potential issues, risks, and areas for improvement. • Develop and sustain a strong ecosystem of manufacturers, service providers and partners. • Implement and make quality assurance processes to ensure that deployments meet established specifications and performance benchmarks. • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve data center infrastructure reliability, resilience, and sustainability.
