• Manage Solution Consulting team to keep existing business and drive sales growth in the region • Hire and onboard new employees as needed, focus on retaining key talent • Accountable for continuous improvement of Solution Consultant’s industry and solution knowledge • Evaluate team members relative to performance goals and plans • Qualify, assign, prioritize and communicate Solution Consulting resources to support pipeline development • Reinforce the disciplined use of sales processes and operating policies • Promote programs to build core competencies, values, and culture in the Solution Consultants • Participate and/or lead customer consulting engagements • Proactively support pipeline development and sales execution for assigned accounts and opportunities • Apply consultative skills in customer-facing situations to identify customer problems • Facilitate customer understanding of AspenTech products & solutions technical functionality • Act as business partner with the account team to develop account strategy based on industry
Job Requirements
- B.S. / M.S. in STEM related majors
- Minimum of 8+ years practical experience in consulting, technology, and/or industry
- 4+ years of people management experience
- Hands-on experience in AspenTech solutions
- Domain expertise in the Refining Industries required
- Strong business acumen
- Adept at having customer discovery sessions, identifying improvement opportunities, and overcoming resistance to change
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Flexibility to travel 30-50% of time as needed
- Specific Product Knowledge: Knowledge of Chemicals operations and business processes
- Familiar with Digitization 4.0 / Digital Twin Projects Implementation
- Familiar with AI/ML, Data Modeling
