Technical Product Manager – Integrations

DaCodes.

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple software integrations (typically 4 to 6 weeks each). • Manage the team’s backlog and capacity using Linear, ensuring continuous allocation and maximizing team utilization (“filling the Tetris blocks”). • Proactively provide visibility on roadmap progress, time estimates, scope creep, and unexpected technical issues. • Act as a Sales Engineer or Forward Deployed Engineer. • Meet directly with Tapi’s clients (Property Managers in the UK) and internal sales/support teams (e.g., Taylor, Anna) to understand how they use their legacy platforms (SME, RePIT, ALTO, etc.). • Translate operational needs into detailed technical specifications and integration plans for the development team. • Work closely with Tapi’s Core Engineering team (especially leaders like Steven and Ken) to align integrations with the platform’s evolving engine and central data model. • Identify gaps or challenges in third-party data structures and propose standardized solutions. • Actively participate in showcases (weekly/biweekly demos) to present pod progress to the broader organization. • Maintain fluid, asynchronous communication via Slack, fully integrating as part of Tapi’s internal team.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience managing software projects using agile methodologies (without being overly bureaucratic or process-heavy).
  • Strong proficiency with product/project management tools, preferably Linear.
  • Solid technical understanding of software integrations, APIs, and database/data modeling. You are not required to code, but you must be able to communicate effectively with backend engineers.
  • Nice to have: Familiarity with integration platforms such as Prismatic, and general exposure to languages like Elixir or Ruby to understand the client’s core technical context.
  • Advanced / Bilingual English: Mandatory. You will work daily with teams in New Zealand, Australia, and clients in the UK.
  • Radical autonomy: Ability to operate independently. The client expects the pod to self-manage and proactively seek work.
  • Strong client-facing skills: Empathy, patience, and the ability to extract meaningful insights from users working with outdated or poorly structured systems.
  • Adaptability: Willingness to navigate a fast-growing startup environment, tolerate ambiguity, and adapt to evolving data architecture.
