Overview About YouAs the Catering Sales Manager, you drive catering sales by actively sourcing new business and turning opportunities into orders across a broad set of markets. This role plays a key part in growing revenue by identifying prospects, reaching out, and consistently following through to secure and expand catering business. You own the pipeline and lead day-to-day sales efforts across the team, ensuring leads are actively pursued and opportunities are converted. You partner closely with Catering Sales Coordinators and restaurant teams to keep work moving, maintain strong follow-through, and ensure every order is set up for successful execution. BenefitsCareers at Noodles are served with a side of: - Pay range: $65,000–$75,000 annual salary - Eligible for a tiered commission opportunity of 2% - 5% based on sales generated and fulfilled - Flexible paid time off - Medical, dental, and vision insurance - 401(k) and stock purchase discounts - Paid maternity and paternity leaves, adoption, and surrogacy benefits - Noodles Resource Groups – inclusive communities that foster belonging, build connections, and support your personal and professional growth - Scholarship opportunities through Noodles Foundation - Monthly technology stipend - Discounts through our gift card program - Learn more about our benefits: https://www.noodles.com/careers/perks Your Day in the Life - Generate new catering business daily through prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and lead follow-up - Identify and pursue opportunities across corporate, education, healthcare, community, and local business segments - Build, manage, and prioritize a pipeline of prospects and existing clients, ensuring consistent activity and follow-through - Lead and coordinate day-to-day sales efforts across the Catering Sales team, keeping leads moving and opportunities progressing - Provide direction and support to Catering Sales Coordinators to ensure outreach, follow-up, and order flow are timely and effective - Convert inbound and self-generated leads into confirmed catering orders, including handling key details and securing payment - Recommend solutions that meet client needs and drive larger or repeat orders - Coordinate with restaurant teams to align on order details and ensure successful execution - Maintain ongoing communication with clients to build relationships and drive repeat and referral business - Conduct post-order follow-up to gather feedback, resolve issues, and strengthen retention - Track sales activity, pipeline performance, and results against goals, adjusting approach as needed - Identify trends, gaps, and new opportunities to grow catering sales and improve performance What You Bring to the Team - Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience - 3+ years of experience in catering sales, hospitality sales, restaurant marketing, or business development - Restaurant and/or catering experience is required - Proven experience generating sales through prospecting, cold outreach, and consistent follow-up - Confidence in asking for the sale and closing opportunities - Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of leads, outreach, and orders - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Experience using CRM systems, ordering platforms, or similar tools - Ability to track performance and adjust approach based on results - Entrepreneurial mindset, you proactively seek opportunities and take ownership of outcomes - Experience guiding or coordinating work across a team is a plus - This is a remote role based in the United States, requiring a reliable internet connection and the ability to work independently while staying responsive and collaborative across teams Noodles & Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer and a Military Friendly workplace.
