Role Overview Atomic 212° is looking for an experienced Programmatic Director (Freelance) to join our Programmatic team and provide senior, hands-on support across key client accounts. This is a senior individual contributor role, ideal for someone who thrives in fast‑paced agency environments and enjoys rolling up their sleeves across programmatic planning, implementation, optimisation and reporting. You'll step in during a period of resourcing change, helping strengthen delivery, close knowledge gaps and ensure our clients continue to receive best‑in‑class outcomes. You'll report directly to the National Programmatic Lead and work closely with cross‑functional teams across the agency. What you'll be doing In this role, you'll play a key part in elevating programmatic performance and supporting team capability across a diverse client portfolio. Your day‑to‑day will include: - Leading programmatic campaign planning, build, optimisation and reporting across Display, YouTube, BVOD, SVOD and Audio - Providing hands‑on expertise across major DSPs and ad‑serving platforms, ensuring campaigns are executed to best practice - Supporting teams across live accounts by identifying optimisation opportunities, risks or limitations-and clearly communicating solutions - Partnering with internal stakeholders to strengthen programmatic strategy and performance outcomes for clients - Reviewing reporting and insights, helping teams move beyond the "what" to the "so what" - Ensuring campaigns deliver to brief, budget and timeline, while maintaining a high standard of quality and accuracy - Acting as a trusted senior specialist within the team, offering guidance, coaching and practical problem‑solving support where needed What we are looking for: To succeed in this role, you'll bring a strong mix of technical capability, agency experience and strategic thinking.
