This is a remote role open to candidates currently residing in the United States and authorized to work here. Industry: Construction Reports to: Finance Director Salary Range: $90,000–$150,000/year (based on experience) Summary of action: We are seeking a hands-on, “turnkey” Controller who can step in and confidently run the day-to-day accounting function with minimal oversight. This individual will be accountable for the integrity of our financial data, and will serve as the primary point of contact for audits and tax cycles. This is not a passive reporting role; this is an operator who understands the numbers, owns the details, and ensures everything ties out. Key Responsibilities: Own the general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial data Prepare and post journal entries; manage month-end and year-end close processes Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls Serve as the primary contact for external auditors and tax professionals; provide requested documentation Ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable regulations Partner with leadership to provide financial insights and reporting Maintain and manage the accounting platform environment Support budgeting and forecasting processes as needed Company Overview: We are not your conventional construction company. Position Summary The Controller is responsible for the preparation of monthly financial statements/financial reporting, net revenue and expense analysis for the hospital/organization according to established procedures and performs other related work related to the Accounting function.
