The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of financial management (preferably within the legal industry or other professional services industries) and the ability to provide strategic insights and guidance to improve financial performance and support growth. This is a hands-on, client-facing role. This role will serve as the embedded financial strategist for a portfolio of 10–20 law firm clients — delivering CFO-level analysis, cash flow management, and strategic financial guidance through the SMB Financial OS and the Law Firm Growth Accelerator Model. Every client receives a consistent, high-quality experience regardless of which FCFO serves them. Qualifications - 5+ years of accounting or finance experience, with strong proficiency in financial statement preparation, cash flow management, and budgeting. - Background in a multi-client environment — public accounting firm, BPO, fractional finance platform, or similar. - Must have managed 5+ client files simultaneously. - Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online — QBO ProAdvisor certification a strong plus. - Experience with Clio or other legal billing software preferred. - Familiarity with law firm financial metrics: utilization, realization, billing, and collections cycles, IOLTA/trust accounting. - Strong client communication skills — able to present financial data clearly to non-financial law firm owners. - Remote-work experienced with strong self-management and time-tracking discipline. Requirements - Must have multi-client experience — candidates with only single-entity backgrounds will not be considered. - Must be willing to operate exclusively within the SMB Financial OS and standardized EOP framework. - Must be detail-oriented with a track record of accurate, timely financial deliverables. - Must have the ability to advise law firm partners on strategy based on financial data. - Must have expert-level skills in Excel and QuickBooks Online.
