Director, Launch Strategy

• Deliver a single, scalable launch operating system and standard operating procedure that improves launch readiness, speed, and cross-functional alignment. • Work closely with peers, group leads, and senior executives across company departments • Implement an intake + ownership model that locks scope, timelines, and Directly Responsible Individual (owner) early to reduce rework and late-stage churn • Operationalize launch tiers and planning milestones before launch with clear entry/exit criteria, required artifacts, and decision points with executive reviews and approvals that drive on-time decisions • Ship reusable templates (plans, checklists, comms briefs, readiness reviews) that shorten planning cycles and raise quality across launches • Drive adoption through enablement and continuous iteration, using launch learnings to keep the system current and effective • Keep stakeholders aligned and execution unblocked with clear communications, decision forums, and a single source of truth. • Deliver a launch communications plan that clarifies what each audience needs, when they need it, and where it lives • Run and support a cadence of reviews and check-in meeting cadences that drive decisions and action to capture risks, owners, and next steps in a searchable hub • Translate stakeholder input into launch-ready artifacts and updates that are reflected in GTM materials and launch workflows • Report measurable impact (readiness, adoption, etc.) and use the data to sharpen the operating rhythms • Deliver on time, on-message launches by project managing integrated plans, risks, dependencies, and readiness across assigned programs. • Own the integrated launch plan (milestones, dependencies, DRIs) for teams to execute from one aligned plan • Provide crisp readiness/status reporting that accelerates decisions and prevents surprises • Proactively manage risks and tradeoffs; drive mitigations and escalate early to protect launch dates and quality • Ensure each stakeholder group has what they need to execute (Sales, Support, Ops etc.) with clear, timely deliverables • Scale launch execution by shipping repeatable and scalable enablement for launch motions led by other teams. • Drive the company-wide roll out of the Launch AI Agent with a clear strategy, launch plan, and success measures to enable stakeholders to easily find and be informed of launch information • Deliver a self-managed launch template + execution framework so teams can self-serve consistent, high-quality launches • Provide training, documentation, and feedback loops that drive sustained adoption and continuous improvement • Define and publish a launch scorecard with readiness gates, adoption, outcome proxies, etc. as a standardized measure of success • Run post-launch retrospectives and publish clear actions/owners to improve the next launch cycle • Surface insights to identify what to replicate and what to fix and turn learnings into shipped improvements (templates, workflows, governance) that measurably improve readiness and execution
Job Requirements
- BS/BA required; MBA, PMP a plus
- Knowledge of the Cloud and SaaS business model, Go-To-Market motions, Marketing and Operations
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in Marketing Operations, GTM, Product Marketing Operations
- Proven experience with indirect management of teams and influencing stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills to align product launch initiatives with business goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas and influence others.
- Strong relationship-building skills to collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization.
- Experience leading change initiatives and managing organizational transformations.
- Strong project management skills to oversee multiple initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
