Software Engineering Specialist – Artificial Intelligence
Vivo (Telefônica Brasil)
• Design and maintain complex, highly available architectures for APIs and services that support Vivo's AI ecosystem. • Lead the definition of coding and design standards (Design Patterns, Clean Architecture), serving as a reference for Senior and Mid-level developers. • Optimize performance and cloud costs of services, ensuring efficient processing of large volumes of data and model calls (LLMs). • Hands-on technical mentor: perform critical code reviews and pair-programming sessions to raise the team's technical level. • Develop critical components and internal SDKs to be consumed by multiple AI squads. • Ensure system resilience through advanced observability strategies, fault handling and infrastructure automation.
Job Requirements
- Extensive experience in backend development using Node.js and Nest.js.
- Deep mastery of microservices architecture, messaging patterns and asynchronous communication (event-driven, WebSockets, gRPC).
- Expertise in Kubernetes (AKS): resource configuration, horizontal/vertical scaling and large-scale container management.
- Advanced knowledge of Cloud Native (Azure): Event Hub, Cosmos DB, Redis and caching strategies.
- Strong experience in Security: implementing complex authentication flows (OAuth 2.0, OIDC) and data protection.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and infrastructure automation for critical production environments.
- Strong database fundamentals: query optimization, NoSQL modeling and consistency management.
- Preferred specialties:
- Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph and orchestration of autonomous agents.
- Technical knowledge in Prompt Engineering and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) to optimize LLM responses.
- Familiarity with APM and observability tools (Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana) for root-cause diagnosis in distributed systems.
- Ability to clearly explain complex architectural decisions to the engineering team.
