Our Values Respect | Belonging | Accountability | Transparency Department Managed Care Administration Must Live In Colorado Job Summary The Pharmacy Technician II, under general supervision of the pharmacy technician supervisor, performs technical tasks within the pharmacy department of the Health Plan. Based on area of necessity and assignment, responsibilities may include answering inbound phone calls, making outbound phone calls, processing faxed, electronic or verbal prior authorizations, and basic computer system operations. Demonstrates the ability to competently work in different areas of pharmacy practice. Essential Functions: - Ensures basic knowledge of call center functions. Develops continuous call center etiquette when taking/making phone calls. Implement phone call documentation on all inbound or outbound calls. (50%) - Ensures basic knowledge of prior authorizations. Implement decisions for prior authorization based off criteria and send to clinical review when appropriate. (30%) - Triages and escalates any prior authorizations, questions or issues outside the pharmacy technician scope of practice to the direct supervisor or pharmacist on duty as needed. (20%) Education: - High School Diploma or GED required AND - Post High School Diploma or Certificate Program completion of a pharmacy technician training program, preferred Work Experience: - At least one year of pharmacy technician in a healthcare or retail setting required Licenses: - CPHT-Certified Pharmacy Technician - PTCB - Pharmacy Technician Certification Board required AND - PHAT-Licensed Pharmacy Technician - DORA - Department of Regulatory Agencies required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Ability to work as a team member - Attention to detail - Knowledge of basic pharmacy practices and procedures - Mathematical computation skills - Organization and communication skills - Good typing, keyboarding and proofreading skills - Ability to work independently within a remote setting - Knowledge of prescription processing and third-party billing, if applicable - Proficiency with Microsoft® Office, preferred - Prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously based off compliance times or due dates Shift Days (United States of America) Work Type Regular Salary $21.00 - $28.60 / hr Benefits At Denver Health, we take care of the people who take care of our community. Role Description During the fixed-term assignment and reporting directly to the country Medical Director, the Associate Director, Medical Affairs Haematology/Oncology is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the country/regional Medical Affairs strategy and programs that support the development, commercialization and life cycle management of in-market and future Jazz Pharma products. Oncology and Hematology are major strategic drivers for the business with significant opportunities in current and future indications, making this role critical to the organization's success. As a key member of the country/regional team, the role will demand high cross-functional collaboration. This role will also lead the in-country team of MSLs responsible for Hematology/Oncology. Qualifications - Previous and consolidated experience of working in an affiliate AD/Sr. Medical Advisor role. - Deep knowledge of specialty Hematology and Oncology market in Spain (Portugal a distinct advantage). - Tracked experience developing and implementing Medical Affairs plans at a country level. - Experience launching new products, market shaping and launch readiness activities. - Proven experience of people management, managing MSLs team a distinct advantage. - Ability to critically analyze complex data. - Clear and concise and impactful communication and presentation skills. - Excellent planning and organization skills. The Medical Science Liaison (MSL) is considered the field-based scientific and clinical emerging expert on current and future Johnson & Johnson Innovative products.
