Job Description

Software Manual QA Specialist

Higharc

• enhance Higharc's platform quality by collaborating closely with our Engineering and Product teams • manually test new features, regression scenarios, and complex user flows in a modern web-based CAD application • write, maintain, and execute test cases based on product specifications and user stories • collaborate with developers and PMs to understand technical implementations and identify edge cases in new features, before they reach end users • log bugs using our issue tracking system (Linear) • validate fixes and contribute to QA sign-off for releases • work with automated test output and support identifying gaps in test coverage so our automation engineers can help fill in those gaps • participate in release QA coordination

Job Requirements

  • Mid to expert level drafter with strong BIM modeling/CAD experience (Example - Revit / AutoCad)
  • 3+ years in experience in production homebuilding, option management and documentation of master plan sets
  • Comfortable testing features involving real-time collaboration, 3D rendering, or document generation
  • Excellent written communication and bug-reporting skills
  • Strong ability to stay organized and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be based in Brazil
  • Understanding of the software development and testing process (a plus)
  • Experience working in an agile, fast-paced software team (a plus)
  • Familiarity with tools for managing tests and bugs, like Linear and Qase (a plus)
  • Familiarity with browser developer tools at a basic level (a plus)
  • Basic understanding of how tests can be automated (a plus)

Role Description Quality Assurance Specialist III performs highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and advanced quality assurance work. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing major agency programs and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, or the general public. Analyzes and monitors the implementation of regional/unit quality assurance plans. Reviews program compliance to ensure state and federal guidelines are followed.
