Ensure solutions meet performance, resiliency, and AEP-scale requirements. - Data Strategy & Integration Define canonical data models, system-of-record ownership, and integration patterns (event-driven and request/response). Conduct architecture reviews, enforce compliance with architectural standards, and provide corrective direction where solutions deviate from defined patterns. - Platform Rationalization Evaluate platforms and services for coupling, scalability, and cost. Support reduction of redundant capabilities and enforce separation between system of experience and system of record. - Execution Support to Principal Architect Operate as a direct delegate for deep architectural work, artifact creation, and cross-team alignment. Own execution of architectural decisions and ensure follow-through across teams. Required Qualifications - 8–12+ years in software architecture or senior engineering roles - Strong experience in domain-based architecture and service decomposition - Proven delivery of microservices and API-first architectures - Experience with cloud-native architectures (AWS preferred) - Knowledge of distributed systems, scalability, and integration patterns - Experience in regulated environments (healthcare, financial services, etc.) - Strong ability to influence engineering teams and enforce architectural standards Preferred Qualifications - Experience with event-driven architectures and real-time data processing - Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and API management platforms - Background in healthcare benefits, sales, or customer acquisition systems - Certifications: AWS/Azure Architect or equivalent Education - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field - Master’s degree preferred Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $106,605.00 - $260,590.00 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.
