Game Economy Designer

• Design and tune in-game economy systems (currencies, stores, progression, rewards, rarity, events, etc.) • Define and balance gameplay and progression loops to ensure healthy engagement and retention. • Collaborate with Game Design, Data Analytics and Monetization teams to create experiences that maximize fun and profitability. • Analyze behavioral metrics (retention, ARPU, LTV, DAU, etc.) and propose data-driven adjustments. • Set pricing, costs and rewards for items, upgrades and events. • Monitor releases and in-game events, identifying opportunities for economic optimization. • Document and continuously update balancing and progression formulas.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in Game Design, LiveOps, or Mobile Game Economy
  • Solid understanding of free-to-play systems, monetization, and retention
  • Strong foundation in statistics and data analysis (Excel, Google Sheets, or BI tools)
  • Ability to translate numbers into balanced design decisions
  • Clear communication skills and enjoyment of working in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with titles released on Android and iOS (preferred)
  • Knowledge of PlayFab, Firebase, Unity Analytics, or similar platforms (preferred)
  • Familiarity with hybrid monetization models (ads + IAP) (preferred)
  • Interest in social games, behavioral economics, and systems design (preferred)

Primary Responsibilities - Provide field-based and remote scientific support in both pre- and post-sales capacities, delivered primarily through focused one-on-one consultations, product demonstrations, applications training, and assay optimization. - Develop and maintain deep expertise in instrument hardware and software, while staying current with established workflows, assays, and emerging applications. - Convey customers’ voice and feedback to product management to promote innovation and address evolving market requirements. Qualifications - M.S. or PhD in Cell Biology or a related field with hands-on live-cell experience (PhD strongly preferred). - 2+ years of academic or industrial experience with microscopy and live-cell handling required; flow cytometry experience is a plus. - 1+ year of industry experience, preferably in a Field Application Scientist role. - Experience with Agilent BioTek, NovoCyte, Seahorse, or xCELLigence platforms is highly desirable.
