• Investigate, troubleshoot, debug, and resolve the organization's technical issues, serving as an escalation point across the Customer Engineering and Support organizations. • Partner closely with Support, Product, and Engineering teams to diagnose and resolve technical issues while maintaining a deep understanding of platform architecture and behavior. • Build and maintain scripts to automate troubleshooting workflows using SQL, PowerShell, or equivalent scripting languages, reducing manual effort and improving resolution speed. • Triage and resolve complex data issues, constructing detailed reports using SQL tables, queries, functions, and stored procedures. • Develop and maintain expert-level knowledge of all Degreed platform features, configurations, APIs, integrations, jobs, and architecture — staying current as the product evolves. • Handle client production data with extraordinary care, rigor, and awareness of data privacy standards and procedures. • Communicate findings, root causes, and solutions clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences, including clients and internal stakeholders.

Job Requirements

  • 4+ years of hands-on experience troubleshooting complex, highly technical client issues in a fast-paced environment.
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including SQL Server — querying, stored procedures, functions, performance optimization, and understanding the downstream impact of actions.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to investigate, debug, and resolve data issues with precision and care.
  • Clear, effective communication — able to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical clients and stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code) to accelerate troubleshooting and script development.
  • Experience with browser dev tools, tracing tools, and log file analysis.
  • Genuine curiosity and drive — someone who approaches new problems with critical thinking and a solutions-first mindset.
  • Experience with C# — particularly for reading code, identifying logic issues, and working with SSO class libraries. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Hands-on experience with FTP, APIs, webhooks, ETL processes, and data formats (CSV, JSON, XML). (Nice-to-Have)
  • Familiarity with logging and observability tools such as Datadog and Amplitude. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Experience with Snowflake, Azure Data Factory, or similar cloud data platforms. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Working knowledge of GoodData or similar reporting/analytics platforms. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Understanding of SSO protocols and App-to-App integrations. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Background in database administration — performance tuning, efficiency optimization, or data recovery. (Nice-to-Have)
  • Familiarity with Elasticsearch. (Nice-to-Have)

Role Description MWH is currently seeking a qualified Project Engineer to support critical water treatment plant (WTP) construction projects in the city, state area. - Provide technical support to project management and project supervision staff to ensure construction work is performed efficiently, on schedule and in accordance with company policy and engineering standards. - Assist with subcontractor procurement and management, package development, construction layout, material and equipment procurement, submittal review, manpower scheduling, quantity takeoffs, labor productivity reporting, document controls, material purchases, deliveries and inventory, and project controls. - Perform ongoing quality inspections; verify all completed work complies with applicable permits, codes, drawings, and specifications. - Prepare and disseminate all required documentation records such as materials and equipment submittals, status reports, sketches of work already completed, material requirement calculations, etc., to supervisor. - Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, temporary works, work method statements, change orders, estimates, etc. - Prepare/facilitate and submit work method statements, ensure requisite approvals and permits are obtained prior to work commencement. - Research resolutions to drawing interpretation problems, conflicts, interferences, and errors.
