Your mission As our (Junior) Controller (m/f/d), you work directly with the CFO of Heartbeat AI GmbH and at the heart of our financial operations. You are joining a fast-growing energy tech company at an exciting stage where the financial foundations you help build today will directly shape how the business scales tomorrow. In your role you will: - Own the financial heartbeat of the business: You take responsibility for our monthly closing process (Monatsabschluss), ensuring accurate, timely, and structured financial reporting across the company - Turn numbers into decisions: You build and maintain financial reports that give our leadership team a clear picture of costs, revenues, and business performance and you are not shy about flagging what the numbers are telling us - Grow into a strategic finance partner: Beyond the numbers, you will increasingly contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning working closely with the CFO to strengthen our financial infrastructure as the company scales - Make Excel your instrument: You work with structured, well-designed spreadsheet models every day building, improving, and maintaining them to a high standard - Apply AI to make your life easer: You are keen to learn directly from an AI driven tech environment and dive into a variety of AI tools (i.e. Claude) to boost your and your teams efficiency in reportings and forecasting purposes Your profile - You have hands-on experience in controlling whether cost, revenue, or sales controlling, what matters is that you know how to work with financial data and turn it into structured, reliable reporting - You have completed a degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field - a Master's degree is not required - You are highly proficient in Excel and enjoy working in it daily.
