Job Description

Senior B2B Strategy Manager

AlphaPet Ventures GmbH

• We are looking for a Senior B2B Strategy Manager (m/f/d) to act as the strategic counterpart to the Head of Global B2B Strategy. • Manage complex, cross-region B2B projects with significant P&L impact (e.g., revenue scope of €500k–€1M and above) — from strategic scoping to executive-level implementation. • Full project ownership from scoping to execution — independently and with clear accountability across one or multiple B2B markets. • Take commercial leadership for the integration of newly acquired businesses: define roadmaps and coordinate cross-regional teams against clear milestones, working closely with global leadership and regional teams. • Own the overarching B2B business-intelligence framework and define global KPIs and data-governance standards for the Executive Board and the reporting agenda. • Act as the AI champion for global B2B sales: identify, evaluate, and integrate the next generation of commercial intelligence tools. • Responsible for the OKR cadence from regional to global levels and for Steering Committees — including clear accountability of regional Sales Directors toward global targets. • Co-develop the global 3-year B2B strategy together with the Head of B2B Strategy and the CSO.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3–4 years of professional experience in a top strategy consultancy OR comparable experience in a corporate development/strategy role within an FMCG company or an FMCG start-up/scale-up.
  • Proven success managing complex projects with many stakeholders and measurable commercial results, and solid experience advising C-level executives directly as well as independently leading high-impact, cross-functional workstreams.
  • You dive deep into the data analytically and strategically and can also zoom out to the big picture; you are equally comfortable with dashboards and board-level recommendations.
  • You bring structured, independent process discipline, meticulous reporting, and ownership of milestones; you take on topics and drive them forward autonomously.
  • You are versatile and adaptable across strategy, reporting, PMI and AI; in an acquisition-driven environment you reorient quickly without losing momentum.
  • You proactively explore and implement new AI tools with curiosity and practical focus; you help build the AI roadmap rather than wait for it. You read people well, navigate confidently across cultures and view stakeholder management as a strategic competence.
  • Fluent German and English; French is a plus. Willingness to travel within Europe 1–2 times per quarter.

Benefits

  • Responsible, exciting and varied tasks with a high degree of autonomy in a dynamic company that values flat hierarchies and an open, relaxed working atmosphere where everyone is on a first-name basis.
  • A friendly, open team of around 280 employees across Munich, Leipzig and Albourne (UK) with several friendly office dogs at our locations.
  • Flexible working hours (based on trust-based working time), home-office options including a contribution to your home-office equipment, and the possibility to work abroad for several months.
  • 28 days of annual leave plus the option to take up to 20 days of unpaid leave as well as special leave!
  • Various internal and external development opportunities that you can choose independently according to your interests.
  • Your mental health matters to us! Through the OpenUp platform you can anonymously participate in individual or group therapy sessions or speak 1:1 with licensed therapists.
  • Various employee discounts — for people and pets!
  • Regular team, company and Family & Friends events.
  • Need a break? Relax in our social area, equipped with a table football (foosball), or challenge colleagues on our cozy sofa to a Mario Kart battle (or another Nintendo Switch game)!
  • Don’t like reheated food? Don’t want to wait to order? Our office has a high-quality, fully equipped kitchen where you can cook or bake great cakes.
  • Free coffee, hot chocolate, tea and a selection of chilled soft drinks such as water and juices, plus fresh fruit, small snacks and a well-stocked candy drawer.
  • EGYM Wellpass membership: With our subsidized EGYM Wellpass membership you get access to thousands of sports and wellness facilities — including gyms, swimming pools, climbing centers, yoga and Pilates studios and many more. This allows you to take care of your fitness and wellbeing across Germany in a flexible way that fits your routine.
